Minimum age
The minimum age is 21 for most vehicles and 25 for luxury, sports and high-performance vehicles. Each vehicle page shows its minimum age.
Young driver fee
When the main driver is 21 to 24, a daily young driver fee applies. It is shown at checkout before you pay.
Deposit for drivers under 25
When the main driver is under 25, the security deposit hold is $500 instead of $250.
Additional drivers
Every additional driver must meet the minimum age for the vehicle.
No upper age limit
We do not set a maximum age. Every driver needs a valid license.
